I don’t think it’s any secret we are huge KA fans. I loved the first two books of this series and couldn’t wait for this installment. Not only did KA deliver a thrilling and intense love story, but Ride Steady is one of my top five books from her, ever!

Whenever I’m in a book slump, I always read KA. Inevitably she will bring me out of it. I know I’m going to get a strong alpha male and a heroine who can hold her own all while making me laugh, cry, cringe, and fall in love. Ride Steady definitely didn’t disappoint. Carissa and Joker quickly became my favorites in this series.

KA is known for her spectacular Epilogues, but the Prologue in this one torn my heart into shreds. It laid the foundation for Joker’s unspeakable background and his heartbreaking tie to Carissa.

This prologue is what started my non-stop reading session with this book. Joker’s story tore me to pieces. There was so much that happened in this prologue, I knew this story was going to be amazing and I was going to enjoy seeing Joker’s overcome his past.

Despite his dark past, I found Joker to be immensely lovable and sweet. The image of him riding up on his huge Harley to change Carissa’s flat tire! Swoon! He is so caring and gentle with both Carissa and Tyler. However, he was still the tough biker when he needed to be.

Nothing like a sexy guy and a baby! I agree, Joker definitely had a soft side that we hadn’t seen in past books, but he also was the total alpha. He could change my tire any day!

As with the majority of KA heroines, I really adored Carissa. It appeared that life and her ex husband had her completely turned inside out but she continued fighting. She was a wonderful mother to Travis, and I loved her feistiness.

I completely hated her ex! How she stayed standing while fighting that battle was proof what an amazing woman she is and how she is strong enough to keep up with a man like Joker.
She was golden. Nothing beat her. She smiled through pain and made you believe it.

Yes, Carissa definitely can hold her own against Joker. As amazing as this story was, I don’t think it would have been the same without Chaos and other cast members. As a certified Rock Chick, nothing makes me happier than seeing Lee, Hank, and the Hot Bunch. This book is the manifesto of KA alphas, all together in all their badass glory.

Completely drool worthy! The way she intertwines her stories allows us to not really ever have to say goodbye. And not only did we get to see some of our favorites, but we also got multi POVs in this book.

After reading 40+ of her books, my KA obsession only grows. I’m not certain how she does it, but she continues to deliver some of my favorite books. Fans of this series will only love it more after reading Ride Steady. I can’t wait for more Chaos!

I can’t wait to get High’s story. Joker and Carissa will be hard to beat, but I have no doubt Kristen Ashley will create another story I will love!

Kristen Ashley was born in Gary, Indiana, USA. She nearly killed her mother and herself making it into the world, seeing as she had the umbilical cord wrapped around her neck (already attempting to accessorise and she hadn’t taken her first breath!).
Kristen grew up in Brownsburg, Indiana but has lived in Denver, Colorado and the West Country of England. Thus she has been blessed to have friends and family around the globe. Her posse is loopy (to say the least) but loopy is good when you want to write.
Kristen was raised in a house with a large and multi-generational family. They lived on a very small farm in a small town in the heartland and existed amongst the strains of Glenn Miller, The Everly Brothers, REO Speedwagon and Whitesnake (and the wardrobes that matched).
Needless to say, growing up in a house full of music, clothes and love was a good way to grow up.
And as she keeps growing up, it keeps getting better.
